Heaven's Joy

Heaven's joy is revealed in the parable of the lost sheep, where Jesus, the Good Shepherd, actively seeks out the one who is lost. Salvation is not a human effort but a gift from the Shepherd, who patiently seeks sinners and has already carried the burden of all sin on the cross. Repentance is a gift—an acknowledgment of one's waywardness and a belief that Jesus has already paid the price. The Church's role is to reflect this heavenly joy by celebrating every repentant sinner and welcoming them into the flock.
